About Nominatim

Nominatim is an API and software project providing geocoding and reverse geocoding based on OpenStreetMap data. The web service exposes endpoints for searching OSM objects by name or type, reverse lookup by location, address lookup by OSM object ID, server status checks, and administrative endpoints for identifying deleted objects and broken polygons.
