When does my ad go live?
Almost immediately. You pick your listing right after checkout and activation is automatic; on-site placements go live as soon as the sites rebuild, usually within the hour. README and newsletter placements follow with the next sync and the next issue. If your product is not listed yet, you submit it first and we review it.
Do you need anything from me?
Usually nothing. On Silver and Gold you upload your logo (light and dark versions, SVG or PNG) and a one-line description of your product right after checkout, and we take it from there. If you skip that step, we will email you for it. Everything else is automatic.
Can I advertise on both Public APIs and Dev Resources?
Yes, switch the scope toggle above the plans to the combined option for a bundle that runs across both directories, at a discount versus buying each separately.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, anytime. Sign in with the email you used at checkout and pick Manage billing from your profile menu to open the Stripe billing portal, where you can switch plans or cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period.
What does the impression weight mean?
It compares how many monthly ad impressions each plan gets you, estimated from our current traffic. 1x is the baseline — Bronze on Public APIs. A 3x plan puts your listing in front of roughly three times as many visitors, across the surfaces it unlocks.
How do I measure the traffic my ad drives?
Every link we send carries ref=dr-pa, plus UTM parameters: utm_source names the directory and surface (public-apis-website, dev-resources-website, public-apis-repo-readme, dev-resources-repo-readme, or dr-pa-newsletter), utm_medium is the channel (referral, or email from the newsletter), and paid placements add utm_content=sponsored. Filter on that last one in your analytics to see exactly what your ad drove, separate from your organic listing.
