The Network Engineering API package from BigDataCloud provides internet infrastructure data through 8 REST endpoints, also accessible via a single GraphQL interface. It covers ASN information (including ownership, transit, and peering relationships), network lookups for IP addresses and CIDR ranges, BGP prefix announcements (with bogon-only filtering), IPv4 address space monitoring combining registry and live BGP status, geolocated Tor exit node data with carrier information, and an ASN ranking system based on announced IPv4 address space.

The endpoints are intended for network troubleshooting, security investigations (tracking actors via ASN and network ownership data), Tor and proxy detection, and internet topology mapping. BGP data is updated every two hours and registry data at least daily.

The package is offered on four tiers: a free Base plan (1,000 requests/month, no credit card required), Bronze at $9.95/month (10,000 requests/month), Silver at $79.90/month (100,000 requests/month), and Gold at $649/month (1,000,000 requests/month), each with overage pricing per additional 10k requests. All plans include GraphQL access and a 99.999% SLA, with yearly billing offering two months free.
