The US Street Address API is a Smarty product for verifying, standardizing, and geocoding US postal addresses. It accepts a single address via HTTP GET or multiple addresses via HTTP POST, using input fields such as street, city, state, and candidates, and returns validation results including deliverability status and rooftop geocoding coordinates. Authentication is handled through auth-id and auth-token query parameters, or via embedded key or secret key methods, and requests must use HTTPS.

The API is intended for developers integrating address verification into applications, and documentation includes SDKs for languages including .NET, Go, iOS, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, and Rust. It is also available as an on-premise solution in addition to the cloud-hosted version, and supports no-code integrations such as Excel, Google Sheets, Zapier, and QGIS.
