Metal Sentinel is a REST API providing current and historical pricing data for precious and base metals, including gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, copper, nickel, aluminum, lead and zinc. It also offers cryptocurrency quotes, forex rates, and mining and commodity stock data through the same API. Gold prices are additionally available karat-priced at 24k, 18k, 14k and 9k, and silver by fineness (999, 958, 925, 900, 800).

Endpoints cover spot prices, historical daily data, point-in-time historical snapshots, and reference data such as market status and lists of supported metals, currencies, and cryptocurrencies. Quotes can be requested in a range of fiat currencies and crypto tokens. The service is distributed through RapidAPI, and embeddable price widgets are available for use without writing code.

Pricing consists of a free tier (15,000 requests/month, 60 requests per minute) and three paid tiers: Pro at $7.99/month (45,000 requests), Ultra at $29.99/month (200,000 requests), and Mega at $49.99/month (500,000 requests). All plans include historical metal price data, mining and commodity stock data, and real-time precious metal quotes.
