Taddy Podcasts provides an API giving access to data on over 4 million podcasts and 200 million episodes. It covers details on individual podcasts and episodes, full-text search across podcasts and episodes, episode transcripts, and webhook notifications for new or updated podcast data, including alerts when a brand is mentioned in a podcast.

The API also returns popularity rankings and daily top charts for podcasts and episodes, the latest episodes for a list of podcasts for building feeds, and batch lookups returning multiple podcasts or episodes at once. Additional data available through the API includes iTunes metadata, country and language information, genre, content type (audio or video), series type (episodic or serial), transcription status, and chapter and alternate enclosure links.

The service is aimed at developers building applications that need podcast directory data, search, or transcripts. It also supports adding a podcast to the Taddy directory, and offers an enterprise option for bulk downloading the full podcast dataset.
