About SkipOdds

SkipOdds is an API that provides de-vigged consensus probabilities (the "SkipOdds Index") for sporting fixtures, computed by removing bookmaker margin from surveyed odds. It covers soccer, tennis, baseball, football, basketball, hockey, college football, college basketball, cricket, rugby, MMA, boxing, and golf, returning consensus probabilities, fair odds, number of books surveyed, and margin removed for each fixture or tournament. Endpoints expose upcoming and live fixtures, single-fixture lookups, movement of the consensus over a configurable time window, and outright/tournament-winner probabilities normalized across the remaining field.

The API also offers webhook alerts that notify subscribers when the Index moves past a set threshold, checked every 15 minutes, with configurable slots depending on plan tier (Starter 2, Pro 5, Scale 20), and support for Discord webhook formatting or generic JSON delivery. A free JavaScript widget can embed a board, outrights, or upsets view on a webpage, with sport, theme, and limit configuration options.

Access requires an API key via header or query parameter, with a demo key available (100 requests/day) and responses cached approximately 60 seconds. The service is positioned as informational only, not for settling wagers or displaying bookmaker names, and does not permit bulk re-sale of raw responses.
