It handles channel routing, carrier interconnects, compliance (10DLC registration, WhatsApp template submission and resubmission, opt-in enforcement, country-specific rules), and content transformation, automatically selecting the best available channel per recipient based on cost and deliverability, with automatic fallback to alternate channels when delivery fails.

The product stores each recipient as a contact object with channel preferences and availability, checks which channels can reach a contact before sending, and lets developers define one template that is rendered into channel-specific payloads for SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS. Sent is registered with carriers directly (NECA OCN, FCC registration, IPES provider) and reports SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance.
