Rebrandly provides an API for creating and managing branded short links. Users authenticate with an API key and can generate short links by submitting a destination URL to the links endpoint, with the option to specify a custom slashtag or use an auto-generated one; links can also be created under a custom branded domain rather than the default rebrand.ly domain.

The API supports account management, branded domains, tags, retargeting scripts, and query parameter templates and presets. It includes features for traffic routing, mobile deep linking, OpenGraph metadata management for links, and bulk link creation for SMS and marketing campaigns, along with a high-volume API for large-scale use. Additional capabilities include click event tracking through clickstream data (webhook or S3 delivery) and conversion tracking, including integration with Google Tag Manager.

The documentation includes SDKs and client libraries, an OpenAPI specification, an API explorer, and an MCP server with installation and troubleshooting guidance for AI agent integration.
