About Minecraft ServerHub

Minecraft ServerHub provides a free REST API for retrieving Minecraft server data, including online status, player counts, version, and MOTD, by pinging a server's host and port over Java or Bedrock protocols. Responses are returned as JSON, with no API key or authentication required for public endpoints.

The API also offers a Badge API that generates dynamic SVG or PNG images showing a server's name, player count, and online status, intended for use in README files, forum signatures, and websites, with embed code provided for HTML, Markdown, and BBCode. A separate Widgets endpoint returns an embeddable HTML page for use in an iframe, displaying live server status with automatic updates every 60 seconds, and supporting dark, light, and transparent themes in compact, standard, or full sizes.

Rate limits apply per endpoint: 60 requests per minute for the ping and widget endpoints, and 120 requests per minute for badge endpoints, with badge and widget responses cached for 5 minutes. The API is intended for developers building Discord bots, website widgets, or monitoring tools, and is offered free for both personal and commercial use.
