Image-Charts is an API that generates chart images from URL requests. A GET or POST request to the API's chart endpoint, with parameters specifying chart type, data, and size embedded in the URL, returns an image that can be used directly in an img tag or accessed via browser.

The API supports multiple chart types, including pie, line, bar, radar, polar area, bubble, GraphViz, progress bar charts, and QR codes, along with Chart.js-based rendering. Chart appearance and content are configured through URL parameters such as cht (chart type), chd (chart data), chs (chart size), chl (labels), chf (fill/gradient styling), and chan (animation as GIF).

The product is aimed at developers who need to embed charts in web pages or applications without client-side rendering, since the chart is generated server-side and returned as an image. Documentation includes a getting started guide, a chart gallery, an API reference, and a changelog.
