The Gyazo API provides a RESTful interface, returning JSON responses, for uploading images and retrieving a Gyazo user's captured images programmatically. It supports uploading image files via HTTP POST requests with authentication handled through bearer access tokens, and returns metadata such as image ID, permalink URL, thumbnail URL, and direct image URL upon upload.

The API also includes an image search endpoint that allows querying a user's uploaded captures by keyword, with support for pagination through page and per-page parameters. Search results return image IDs, permalink URLs, and direct image URLs matching the query.

Access requires creating an application through the Gyazo dashboard and generating an access token. The API is intended for developers building applications that need to upload screenshots or images to Gyazo and retrieve or search a user's existing captures.
