CoinRanking provides an API for retrieving cryptocurrency market data, including lists of coins, trending coins, coin details, price and price history, and fiat prices. Additional endpoints cover blockchains, exchanges, DEXs, markets, futures, global statistics, tags, moving averages, and a Fear and Greed Index, with some endpoints designated as part of a Pro tier. A WebSockets interface is also available for rates, exchange rates, tickers, and bulk coin data.

The API is accessed over HTTPS at a base URL, with authentication via an API key passed in either the x-access-token header or as a Bearer token in the Authorization header. Users create an account to obtain a dashboard showing their API key, subscription plan, monthly usage, and remaining request allowance; a free plan is available by default, and limited unauthenticated requests are permitted subject to rate limits.
