About Coinlore

CoinLore provides a free public API for real-time and historical cryptocurrency market data, covering more than 14,500 coins and 300+ exchanges. It requires no registration or API key, and the provider recommends around one request per second for stable usage. The base endpoint is api.coinlore.net.

The API exposes endpoints for global market statistics (total market cap, BTC/ETH dominance, volume), a lightweight asset list for building lookup tables and autocomplete pickers, ticker data for one or multiple coins (price, price change, market cap, volume, supply), top gainers and losers filtered by 24h volume, static coin metadata (logo, all-time high, supply, launch date, website, social links, platform), 365-day daily OHLCV history per coin, exchange and market listings per coin, a full exchange directory with per-exchange trading pairs, and social statistics from Twitter and Reddit for individual coins.

The service is aimed at developers, traders, researchers, and businesses building crypto applications, dashboards, screeners, and other market data tools. Documentation includes example requests, response field descriptions, and code samples in cURL, Python, JavaScript, and PHP for each endpoint, along with a live API playground for testing requests directly on the page.
