About Beeceptor

Beeceptor is a mock API platform for creating REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and gRPC mock servers without setting up a backend. It generates mock servers from OpenAPI/Swagger, WSDL, GraphQL SDL, or proto specifications, and can produce AI-generated test data along with schema-less, stateful CRUD routes supporting filtering and sorting.

The platform includes request inspection for viewing payloads and headers in real time, dynamic response generation based on incoming request data, and proxy-and-record functionality to switch between a live backend and mock mode. Additional capabilities include simulating network latency, timeouts, and errors, along with a local tunnel for routing external event payloads to a development machine.

Other tools include an HTTP echo server, a webhook testing endpoint, a two-factor authentication code generator, HTTP traffic monitoring, and a test data generator with over 300 generators outputting JSON, CSV, and SQL formats. The service is aimed at developers and QA teams building integrations, running automated tests, and creating demos without dependencies on backend services.
