Swedish public data including companies, statistics, weather and transport.
Apiverket is a unified REST API that aggregates Swedish public data from over 45 government sources into a single, consistent interface, covering more than 280 endpoints across categories including weather, transport, statistics, parliament, health, finance, environment, crime, tax, enforcement, migration, geology, archives, and biodiversity. Source agencies include SMHI, SCB, Riksbanken, Trafikverket, Kolada, Skolverket, Socialstyrelsen, Naturvårdsverket, Riksdagen, Polisen, Bolagsverket, Kronofogden, Skatteverket, and Försäkringskassan, among others.
Access requires a Bearer token, with a test mode (`sk_test_*` keys) that returns curated sandbox data without calling upstream sources, and a live mode (`sk_live_*` keys) that queries the real government APIs with caching. Company registry lookups and searches specifically require a live key. Every API response follows a consistent envelope structure containing metadata (request ID, API version, mode, sources, warnings, rate limit) and a data payload.
The product is aimed at developers building applications that need programmatic access to Swedish government and public sector data without integrating separately with each source agency's own API.
