About Adzuna

Adzuna provides a RESTful API for accessing job listing and employment data. The API consists of nine endpoints covering job ad search, salary data (including historical trends and distribution histograms), regional vacancy data, top companies by vacancy count, and job categories.

Access requires registration to obtain an app_id and app_key, which must be passed as parameters with each request. Responses are available in JSON, JSONP, XML, HTML, or XLSX format, with the format determined by the Accept HTTP header or a content-type query parameter. JSONP support is intended for building widgets that can be embedded via script tags.

The API is organized by country-specific endpoints (e.g., queries scoped to a country code such as "gb"), and includes a version endpoint to check which API version is being queried. Interactive endpoint documentation is provided for testing calls and viewing parameter and response details. This service is aimed at developers building applications or widgets that use job listing and labor market data.
