About CV - Job match score API

Resume Job Match Score is an API that compares a resume or CV against a job description and returns structured match results. It works as an asynchronous job: a submit endpoint accepts a resume file (PDF, DOCX, TXT, or similar) along with the job description in plain text, and returns a job ID and status URL; a separate status endpoint is then polled to retrieve the result once processing completes.

The result includes an overall match score along with scores for specific hiring signals such as skills match, experience match, education match, soft skills match, technical stack match, job title relevance, recent role relevance, certifications match, and project experience match. Each score is accompanied by a human-readable explanation, and the response reports job status as queued, running, successful, or failed.

The API is intended for applicant tracking system enrichment, recruiter triage, and shortlist ranking, where a numeric comparison between a candidate's resume and a job description is needed alongside the reasoning behind it. It is published by SharpAPI and offered through the ApyHub catalog.
