Its primary endpoint, cardinfo.php, returns detailed card information including name, type, description, ATK/DEF, level, race, attribute, archetype, and card set data, with additional fields for pendulum and link monsters. The endpoint supports extensive query parameters for filtering by name, fuzzy name search, ID, Konami ID, card type, stats, archetype, banlist, format, release date, and other attributes, plus sorting options.

The API is intended for developers building applications or tools that need structured Yu-Gi-Oh! card data, such as deck builders or card databases. Access is rate-limited to 20 requests per second, with violators blocked for one hour, and users are instructed to cache and store retrieved data locally rather than repeatedly querying the API. Card images must be downloaded and re-hosted rather than hotlinked, and specific card query results are cached server-side for 2 days.

The site also hosts a broader Yu-Gi-Oh! platform including deck databases, tournament meta deck listings, a card database, forbidden/banlist information, a pack simulator, and community features, with a paid Premium subscription offered to support the free API.
