About Yandex.Maps Geocoder

Yandex.Maps Geocoder is an API that converts addresses to coordinates and coordinates to addresses, supporting order placement, delivery, and logistics workflows. It accepts addresses including apartment numbers and returns coordinates precise to the building entrance, and supports displaying locations on a map by clicking to select points such as pickup locations. Requests can be sent via HTTPS or the JS API, and addresses can be split into customizable components grouped by region, city, and other levels.

The database covers more than 29 million addresses across Russia, the CIS, Turkey, and Israel, and is continuously updated. An Advanced license option adds the ability to store and modify address data on the customer's own servers for additional cost.

The API is licensed annually with tiers based on requests per year: 2.5M, 10M, 25M, and 50M, at Basic prices of $13,000, $25,000, $50,000, and $85,000 respectively (with additional Data Storage pricing at $10,000, $32,500, $65,000, and $110,500), and exceeding limits incurs extra charges. Advanced license pricing is calculated based on selected features, and no unlimited license is available. A free trial period is available for accounts with at least 10 million annual requests, with other volumes negotiable on a case-by-case basis. Keys are created through the Developer's Dashboard by selecting the product and clicking Connect API.
