This API provides programmatic access to the Thirukkural, a collection of 1,330 two-line Tamil poems on ethics and morality written by Thiruvalluvar. Given a kural number, the API returns the poem's Tamil text (both lines), its Tamil explanation, an English translation, and an English explanation, along with the section, chapter group, and chapter names in both Tamil and English.

Access is via a single GET endpoint that accepts a kural number as a query parameter and returns a JSON object containing all of the above fields. The database is credited as forked from an existing source.

The API is suited to developers building applications, translation tools, or educational resources involving Tamil literature or the Thirukkural text specifically.
