About The Graph

The Graph is infrastructure for indexing and querying blockchain data. It organizes on-chain data from smart contracts into "subgraphs," which applications query using GraphQL to retrieve structured information without running their own data servers or building custom indexing pipelines. The product line includes Subgraphs for indexing and querying, Substreams for streaming data into custom sinks, and Amp, a blockchain-native database for transforming on-chain data into structured, verifiable insights.

The underlying network is decentralized, with data served through a distributed set of participants including Indexers, who run infrastructure and serve queries; Curators, who identify useful subgraphs; Delegators, who support Indexers to help secure the network; and Subgraph Developers, who build the subgraphs. The network reports over 100 indexer nodes, more than 1.27 trillion queries served, over 75,000 subgraph projects, and support for more than 60 blockchain networks.

The product is aimed at web3 application developers who need reliable access to blockchain data for use cases such as DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, analytics, and gaming, as well as other ecosystem participants (indexers, curators, delegators) who take part in operating or securing the network.
