About Etherscan

Etherscan provides a single API for accessing blockchain data across more than 60 blockchains, built on the same infrastructure that powers its block explorers. It covers data such as transactions, blocks, accounts, tokens (including ERC-20), NFTs, and related on-chain activity for Ethereum and other supported chains.

The API is offered on a tiered subscription model. A free tier provides access to selected chains (90% coverage), a 3 calls/second rate limit, up to 100,000 calls/day, and community endpoints, with attribution required. Paid plans (Lite, Standard, Advanced, Professional, Pro Plus) range from $49/mo to $899/mo, offering higher rate limits (5-30 calls/second), higher daily call caps (up to 1,500,000/day), access to all supported chains, and, on higher tiers, access to API Pro endpoints and an Address Metadata endpoint. Enterprise and Dedicated plans with unmetered usage, dedicated infrastructure, and SLA-backed availability are available by contacting sales. Quarterly and yearly billing offer discounts of 10% and 15% respectively over monthly pricing.

This service is intended for developers building applications that need programmatic access to Ethereum and other blockchain data, ranging from individual developers on the free tier to businesses requiring higher throughput or dedicated infrastructure on paid tiers.
