Quran API is a free REST-style service providing access to Quran translations, delivered via jsDelivr CDN with no rate limits. It offers over 90 languages and 440+ translations, including Latin (roman script) versions with optional diacritical marks, and returns data in JSON or minified JSON format.

Endpoints allow retrieval of full editions, individual chapters, verses, and structural divisions such as juzs, rukus, pages, manzils, and maqras. The API also exposes metadata endpoints listing available editions, Arabic fonts for rendering the text, and general information about the Quran's structure (number of juzs, sajdas, rukus, etc.).

The project is aimed at developers building websites, apps, or other tools that need programmatic access to Quran text and translations. The maintainer states that translations from certain authors, including Rashad Khalifa and the Ahmadiyya community, were deliberately excluded due to authenticity concerns, and that some translations were OCRed and may contain errors.
