About Nekosia API

Nekosia API provides access to anime and neko-themed images for integration into Discord bots, apps, and websites. Each image includes dominant color data, tags for searching, and copyright attribution embedded in EXIF metadata, with most images sourced from Pixiv artists. The API offers both original and compressed image versions and uses session management to avoid repeating previously shown images within a session. All images are labeled safe for work.

The service includes a Booru where users can browse images directly on the website and submit requests to correct image tags and metadata, which are reflected in API responses once approved. Content is delivered via a CDN, and the API has no CORS restrictions, allowing use across any website.

Official wrappers are available for JavaScript, with C# and Python wrappers listed as in development. The API is free to use with no listed pricing tiers.
