About moogleAPI

moogleAPI is a free, open REST API providing data on Final Fantasy characters, monsters, and games. It offers list, get-by-ID, and search endpoints for each of the three resource types, with filtering options such as game ID, category, and pagination parameters, plus a games endpoint that includes character and monster counts.

Anonymous access is capped at 60 requests per minute per IP with no API key required; passing an API key via the X-Api-Key header raises the limit to 600 requests per minute. The API also powers four browser games (Kupodle, Triple Triad, Kupo Climb, Battle Square) built entirely on the public endpoints.

The service is aimed at developers building applications, tools, or games using Final Fantasy data, and is not affiliated with Square Enix. It was built by jackfperryjr.
