About Gcore CDN

Gcore CDN is a distributed content delivery network that accelerates websites, applications, APIs, and other content for end users regardless of their distance from the origin server. It is configured through the Gcore Customer Portal, where users create CDN resources, set up origins or origin groups, configure IP options, and add SSL certificates including free Let's Encrypt certificates.

The service includes cache control and monitoring tools such as purge (by URL, regular expression, or full resource), prefetch for preloading content onto CDN servers, downloadable logs with an optional paid Raw Logs tier, and reports covering traffic volume, response codes, and cacheable traffic percentage. A dedicated Video CDN offering supports live and on-demand video delivery with CMCD, HLS, DASH, multi-codec support, and video-specific secure tokens.

CDN is part of Gcore's broader edge network and integrates with Gcore Managed DNS, which offers Anycast routing and can resolve records directly to CDN addresses, and with FastEdge, a serverless edge compute product that can extend CDN resources with custom logic or serve as a CDN origin. Additional integrations include a Grafana plugin for CDN statistics and a Terraform plugin for creating and configuring CDN resources.
