CarVector provides a REST API delivering vehicle data over JSON/HTTPS, authenticated with a single bearer key. It covers vehicle specifications (year, make, model, trim, engine, drivetrain, and body details), representative vehicle images by year/make/model, federal recall campaigns mapped to vehicles, and a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) reference including code titles, category, severity, and flags.

The API exposes endpoints for searching vehicles, retrieving full specs for a single vehicle, fetching recall campaigns for a vehicle, looking up DTC reference data, and checking service health and data freshness. Documentation includes a quickstart guide, authentication instructions, and a full API reference.
