WorldCoinIndex provides a JSON API for cryptocurrency market data, including per-market ticker information such as price, 24-hour trading volume, and timestamps for coin pairs like ETH/BTC and LTC/BTC. Data is returned in fiat or BTC terms depending on the endpoint, and prices can be requested against multiple fiat currencies including USD, EUR, CNY, GBP, and RUB.

Access requires an API key, which is free to obtain. Requests are restricted to one API key per IP address, with a limit of 70 requests per hour, and the underlying data is updated every 5 minutes. The service offers a current ticker endpoint, a "GetMarkets" v2 endpoint, and two deprecated endpoints (an older GetMarkets and an "All" endpoint) that remain documented for existing integrations.
