Veriphone is a phone number validation and carrier lookup service covering 243 countries and territories. Given a phone number, it checks validity against the official numbering plan for that country, standardizes the format (E.164, international, or local), and identifies the country, carrier, and line type (mobile, fixed, or VoIP). A separate Current Carrier Lookup product resolves which carrier actually serves a number today, using national portability registries, returning both the original and current carrier along with a ported flag.

The service is used for cleaning contact lists, scoring leads by reachability, routing by region, and reducing fraud. It supports both bulk processing via CSV upload and an API (a GET request returning JSON) for real-time checks. It also integrates with Zapier and Make for connecting to other apps and workflows without code.

Pricing includes one-time credit packs starting at $24 for 10,000 credits, and monthly subscription plans starting at $39 for 50,000 credits per month, with a free tier of 1,000 credits for new signups.
