About Svix

Svix is a webhooks-as-a-service platform that lets companies send, receive, and stream webhooks to their own customers without building the infrastructure themselves. It handles automatic retries for failing or hanging endpoints, logging and monitoring of delivery status, and security concerns such as signed payloads, secret rotation, SSRF protection, and replay-attack prevention. It also provides multi-tenancy support for isolating endpoints, logs, and configuration per customer.

The product includes an embeddable application portal (white-labeled or custom-built via API) that lets end users add and remove their own webhook endpoints and inspect delivery logs. Additional features include event filtering by endpoint, payload transformations applied in-flight, throttling to protect slow consumers, FIFO-ordered delivery, polling-based delivery, streaming events to Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud, and multi-region delivery (US, EU, Canada, Australia) for data residency requirements.

Svix is aimed at developers and engineering teams at companies that need to offer webhooks to their own customers, integrated via an API and SDKs with a few lines of code. The company created the Standard Webhooks specification, an industry standard for webhook delivery, and is used across fintech, AI/ML, developer tools, logistics, healthcare, and SaaS industries, with customers including Brex.
