About QuickChart

QuickChart is an open-source chart image API built on Chart.js. It generates chart images, QR codes, and other visualizations by rendering a Chart.js configuration passed as a URL parameter, producing an embeddable image that can be used in emails, reports, or any application via a simple img tag or direct URL request.

It is used through direct URL construction or via client libraries for JavaScript/Node (quickchart-js), Python (quickchart-python), C# (quickchart-csharp), Java (quickchart-java), Ruby (quickchart-ruby), PHP (quickchart-php), and Go (quickchart-go), each offering methods to set chart configuration, width, and height, and to retrieve the chart as a URL, binary image, or file. A no-code Chart Maker is also available for building charts without programming, along with integrations for Zapier, Make, and platforms such as Airtable, Bubble, AppSheet, and Thunkable.

The product is dual-licensed under the GNU AGPLv3 and a commercial license, with images produced by the API usable for any purpose. Hosted plans are available, and purchasing a license also grants permission to modify QuickChart for private and on-prem commercial use. It is operated by Alioth LLC.
