The API provides access to metadata for all datasets published on data.overheid.nl, the Dutch open government data portal. It is built on CKAN and accessed via https://data.overheid.nl/data/api/3/, following the CKAN API structure documented on the CKAN website; the CKAN API v3 is not a REST API and no complete OpenAPI spec exists for it yet. All information retrievable through the API is licensed under CC-0, permitting reuse.
Beyond dataset metadata, a separate set of APIs allows access to data requests, applications, groups, organizations, and communities associated with data.overheid.nl, with further documentation provided in Dutch on a separate documentation server.
