NetAPI provides domain name, WHOIS, and DNS datasets covering more than 1,500 TLDs (gTLDs and ccTLDs), tracking over 489 million domain names. It offers plain domain lists (one domain per row) as well as richer datasets that add fields such as Majestic rank, DNS servers, hostname, server IP, country, emails, and phone numbers. Data can be organized by zone, by DNS provider (e.g., Cloudflare, Route 53, GoDaddy, Google Cloud DNS), or by registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Automattic), and each zone can include full, newly-registered, and deleted-domain lists depending on registry publication. Most zones are updated daily, with some country-code zones receiving smaller daily updates between monthly full refreshes.

The service also includes single-lookup tools for domains and IPs (domain lookup and reverse IP lookup), a free daily-updated compromised IP list and compromised domain list intended for threat monitoring, and research reports on topics like top website rankings and TLD/registrar/DNS statistics. Data can be downloaded manually from a dashboard or accessed programmatically through an API using a token issued after sign-up, with documentation covering authentication, endpoints, and request formats.

NetAPI is positioned for users who need bulk or automated access to domain, DNS, and WHOIS data, such as for security monitoring, market research, or domain intelligence, rather than one-off lookups. It also supports integration with AI assistants: a ChatGPT plugin and an MCP server that let compatible clients (including Claude and Cursor) check domains and IPs against the compromised feeds, search newly registered domains, read TLD/registrar/DNS-provider statistics, and, with a paid plan, perform domain lookups and request download links.
