About MeowFacts

MeowFacts is an API that returns random cat facts on a GET request. A single request returns one fact, and the count parameter can be used to request multiple facts at once; the id parameter allows retrieving a specific fact by its index.

The API supports responses in multiple languages via the lang parameter, including English, Czech, German, Bengali, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Filipino, Ukrainian, Urdu, Italian, Chinese, and Korean, with language variants specified by locale-style codes (e.g., esp-es vs esp-mx).

The project is open source under the MIT license, with source code, tests, and Docker support included in the repository, and can be installed and run locally via npm.
