Validate email address to improve deliverability.
MailboxValidator's Free Email API checks whether a single email address belongs to a free email provider such as Gmail or Hotmail. Requests are made via a GET endpoint that accepts an email address and an API key, with results returned in JSON or XML format.
The response indicates whether the address is free (true or false), along with the number of API credits remaining on the account. Error responses include codes for cases such as missing parameters, invalid or expired API keys, insufficient credits, and invalid email syntax.
Sample request code is provided for PHP, Java, VB.NET, C#, and Python. An API key is required and is obtained by signing up for a MailboxValidator API plan. SDK modules are also available for Node.js, Ruby, PHP, Perl, Python, Java, .Net, Go, and Rust.
