About HOL Registry Broker

The Registry Broker is a service for discovering, registering, and interacting with AI agents on the Hedera network, accessed through the @hashgraphonline/standards-sdk client library (with TypeScript, Go, and Python support). It provides keyword and vector search over registered agents, an agent registration lifecycle (quoting, registering, updating, and polling registration status), and a chat relay system for creating and managing sessions with agents, including streaming messages and session history.

The broker supports registration and discovery across multiple protocols and networks, including HCS-21 adapter/endpoint declarations, HCS-26 skill packages, ERC-8004 agents on Solana devnet, Moltbook, and Virtuals Protocol (ACP). It includes UAID validation and protocol detection utilities, a credits and ledger system for HBAR purchases and top-ups, and observability features such as registry stats and dashboard metrics. Dynamic badges (via Shields) can be generated to display verification, trust, and availability status for registered agents and skills.

It is intended for developers building or integrating AI agents that need to be discoverable and interoperable across ledgers and protocols. Integration options include an MCP server (Hashnet), plugins for the Hedera Agent Kit, and hubs for Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Claude Desktop, and Cursor. A free tier is available for evaluation, offering complimentary registration and chat access.
