About Game Brain

Game Brain provides a REST API to a video game database covering over 775,000 games across more than 70 platforms. The API exposes game search (including natural language and partial-name suggestion queries), detailed game data such as screenshots, videos, genres, tags, themes, play modes, store purchase links with offer prices, related and similar games, and news. It also includes a proprietary Game Brain Score that combines user and critic ratings into a single metric, along with review summaries covering positive and negative aspects. A Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration is available for connecting the data to chatbots such as Claude Desktop or ChatGPT.

Access is metered through a token- and request-based system with four tiers: a free plan for non-commercial personal or hobby projects (limited daily tokens, one concurrent request, backlink requirement), a $19/month "High Score" plan for commercial projects, a $139/month "God Mode" plan with higher token and request limits and email support, and a custom-priced Enterprise plan supporting up to 10,000,000 requests per month with custom data requests and priority support. Paid plans are billed via Stripe.
