About EPO
Open Patent Services (OPS) is a web service from the European Patent Office that provides access to EPO raw data through a standardized XML interface using RESTful architecture. The data is drawn from the EPO's bibliographic, worldwide legal status, full-text, and image databases, the same sources underlying Espacenet and the European Patent Register.
The service allows developers to integrate EPO data into their own software applications or in-house databases, build custom clients, or download large volumes of data.
