About Czech Television

Czech Television provides an XML export feed of its TV programming schedule, accessible via a URL constructed with a date parameter and a channel identifier. Supported channels include CT1, CT2, CT24, CT sport, CT :D, CT art, and CT3. Requests can optionally include regional broadcast variants and can return data in JSON format instead of XML.

The feed returns structured program data including broadcast date and time, program and episode titles, original titles, genre, duration, episode numbering, a description text, regional broadcast codes, and whether a broadcast is an alternative airing. It also includes flags for audio type, audio description, closed captions, sign-language interpretation, live broadcast status, premiere status, black-and-white broadcast, age suitability (including an 18+ marker and child age-group labeling from 4+ to 15+), original-language audio, and aspect ratio.

Use of the export requires a login parameter in the request URL and is limited to one fetch per minute per user. Access requires registration and activation. Terms restrict use to displaying and publishing the Czech Television program on the user's own website in connection with presenting the schedule, or for personal use; redistribution of the data or the XML file itself to third parties in machine-readable form, or removal of hyperlinks back to the Czech Television site, is not permitted without consent. The service is provided without guarantee and access can be revoked at any time.
