About CSV to JSON API

CSV to JSON Converter is a hosted API that converts CSV data into JSON. It accepts input as raw CSV text in the request body, an uploaded CSV file, or a publicly accessible CSV URL, and returns the result as an inline JSON array, a downloadable JSON file, or a pre-signed S3 URL.

The API exposes 9 POST endpoints covering the combinations of input type (raw body, file upload, URL) and output type (inline JSON array, JSON file, S3 URL). For URL-based conversion, the source CSV must be publicly accessible, and the endpoint validates the response Content-Type or Content-Disposition header. File uploads are capped at 100MB total per request, with URL-based endpoints suggested as an alternative for larger files.

Each CSV row is returned as a JSON object with no fixed schema, allowing additional properties. The tool is suited for import pipelines, data normalization jobs, ETL steps, and applications that need to ingest spreadsheet exports into JSON-based systems.
