About Bandsintown
The Bandsintown API provides read-only access to artist information and artist event data. The artist information endpoint returns a link to the artist's Bandsintown page, a link to the artist photo, and the current number of trackers. The artist events endpoint returns event listings including date and time, venue name and location, ticket links, lineup, description, and a link to the Bandsintown event page, with the ability to filter for upcoming events, past events, all events, or events within a specified date range.
The API uses OAS 2.0 (Swagger) with HTTPS, base URL rest.bandsintown.com, and two endpoints: GET /artists/{artistname} and GET /artists/{artistname}/events. Data models include ArtistData, EventData, VenueData, and OfferData.
Access requires reading and accepting Bandsintown's Terms and Conditions and obtaining written consent from Bandsintown Inc., including a personal application ID issued after contacting the company about intended use. The API is intended for artists and enterprises representing artists.
