AZ511 is a REST API providing access to Arizona traveler information collected by the AZ 511 system. It exposes data on traffic cameras, weather stations, message boards (VMS), traffic events, alerts, and rest areas, intended for developers building traffic-related applications such as mobile traffic apps for Arizona.

Access requires a registered account and a developer API key, and the API is rate-limited to ten calls every 60 seconds. The service also provides access to a Work Zone Data Exchange (WZDx) API, following the WZDx Specification, which makes work zone activity data available for third-party use.
