The AniList GraphQL API provides access to over 500,000 anime and manga entries, including character, staff, and live airing data. The AniList and AniChart websites run on this same API, so most functionality available on those sites is also accessible through the API.

This repository hosts the documentation for the API, including a written getting-started guide, a GraphQL reference covering queries, mutations, types, and objects, and an interactive GraphiQL editor for testing queries. The reference docs and GraphiQL editor are noted as deprecated in favor of Apollo Studio, and the statically rendered reference docs are updated manually and may not always reflect the current API.
