About Tredict

Tredict is a platform for tracking training activities, health data, and coaching, offering an OAuth2 API that lets third-party applications access user data with consent. The API supports both a standard OAuth2 flow and an OAuth2.1 flow with PKCE, the latter recommended for public clients such as mobile and single-page applications. Endpoints cover activity lists and files, planned training, training efforts, health data, HRV data, sleep data, capacity values, zones, equipment lists, and training plans, with both download and upload operations available depending on the endpoint.

Access to the OAuth2 API requires applying to Tredict with details including the application name, a description, a logo, callback URLs, a privacy statement link, and the required scopes; default scopes granted are activityWrite, activityRead, bodyvaluesWrite, and bodyvaluesRead. Applicants choose between a public client using PKCE or an explicit server flow with enhanced credentials, the latter requiring a phone number for PIN-based delivery of a KeePass2 credentials vault. Authorization codes obtained through the flow are valid once and expire after 10 minutes.

For individual use rather than multi-user application development, Tredict also offers a Personal API that requires no registration and is generated directly through account settings, with tokens managed automatically via the web interface rather than through the manual OAuth2 application flow. The authorization dialog and documentation are available in English and German, with German access through a separate domain (tredict.de).
